Mr. Black: Hello, Mr. Smith. I would like some special gum to help me quit smoking.
Pharmacist: Ah, so you have finally decided to give up this nasty habit?
Mr. Black: Yes. I am a chain smoker and recently I have read an article describing how bad it is.
Pharmacist: That’s true. It can destroy your brain, your heart and your lungs. It can even cause cancer.
Mr. Black: Yes, I know. I tried to give up smoking before, but now I’m really determined.
Pharmacist: Very good. What gum flavour would you like? I have cinnamon, fruit and mint.
Mr. Black: Mint please.

Pharmacist: Good afternoon, Mrs. Jones. What can I do for you?
Mrs. Jones: I need your advice. I think my son has a problem with alcohol.
Pharmacist: This sounds serious.
Mrs. Jones: It does. He comes home drunk more and more often and he even started drinking in the morning. I’m afraid he can be an addict. 
Pharmacist: Have you talked to him about this?
Mrs. Jones: I have. He says everyone has a drink or two after work and drinking in the morning helps him relax.
Pharmacist: It’s not a good excuse. You should explain to him how dangerous it can be. You should also try to convince him to see a psychologist and join a therapy group.
Pharmacist: Hello, Mrs. Pole. How can I help you?
Mrs. Pole: I need some information on drugs.
Pharmacist: Why?
Mrs. Pole: I think I found some marihuana in my daughter’s room.
Pharmacist: Have you noticed any change in your daughter’s behaviour recently? 
Mrs. Pole: Yes, I think so. She is often agitated and distracted.
Pharmacist: That doesn’t have to mean that she’s smoking marihuana or taking other drugs but I will give you some drug test kit so you can check.
